About these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and i-Lanam Technologies Inc., the company in Canada that runs PleasVre. By creating an account you agree to them. Please also read our privacy policy, which explains how we look after your information.
Who can use PleasVre
PleasVre is only for adults aged 18 and over. You must give your real date of birth. If something suggests an account belongs to someone under 18, we pause it, as described in the privacy policy.
What PleasVre is, and isn't
PleasVre is an intimacy and sexual wellness app for self-discovery, education and better conversations, on your own or with a partner. It is for every body and every kind of relationship.
PleasVre is not medical advice, therapy or an emergency service. The library and the coach give general information only. The coach is an AI guide and can be wrong. For anything about your own health, talk to a doctor, pharmacist or sex therapist. If you are in danger, contact your local emergency number.
Your account
You sign in with your email address and a one-time code, and you protect the app on your phone with a PIN. Keep your PIN private. You can have one shared space with one partner at a time.
Respecting the people you invite
- Only invite someone who wants to be invited, and who is 18 or over.
- Never pressure anyone to join, to answer, or to say yes to anything.
- Don't try to find out what your partner answered privately, or use PleasVre to monitor or control anyone.
- Messages you send in PleasVre must be respectful. Don't send threats, harassment or anything illegal.
We may close accounts that break these rules.
What you write
What you write in PleasVre stays yours. You give us permission to store and process it only to run PleasVre for you, as described in the privacy policy.
Subscriptions and gifts
Some parts of PleasVre need a subscription. Subscriptions are bought and managed through the App Store or Google Play, renew automatically until you cancel, and can be cancelled in your store account settings. Prices are shown before you buy. In a shared space, one subscription covers both of you. The pace at which shared discoveries appear is the same for everyone and is never for sale. Gift codes give a set period of Premium and can only be used once.
Ending your use
You can stop using PleasVre and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts someone at risk, or appears to belong to someone under 18.
Our responsibility
We work hard to keep PleasVre safe, private and available, but we provide it as it is, and we can't promise it will always be free of errors or interruptions. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses, and our total responsibility to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before a claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law.
The law that applies
These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, unless the law where you live gives you the right to use its laws and courts.
Changes
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app before the change takes effect.
